HOW QUASAR IS PLAYED.
In order to play Quasar, players are equipped with a laser gun which is attached to a battery powered chest and back pack. The laser gun emits an infra-red beam which transmits a signal to opposing players when they are hit. The gun also emits a harmless red laser beam, which provides a stunning visual effect.
Quasar can be played as either an individual or team game. The object of the game is to score points by firing accurately at the opponents and deactivating the H.Q. At the beginning of the game , players need to pass through the energiser in order to activate their packs. This also gives players their lives and lasers. Depending upon the game, energisers may be used to replenish lives and lasers throughout the game.
At the end of the game each player must go back through the energiser to download, in order to get an accurate Quasar data sheet.

DEPOSIT AND BOOKING INFORMATION
All players must be at least 7 years old.
Minimum number required for a party is 8 players. Maximum 24.
Book 20 or more players then you get exclusive use of the game. (not the centre).
The number of people booked is the number of people charged for on the day.
£50 deposit for less than 20 players or £100 deposit for 20 or more players.
Deposits are non-refundable or transferable.
The final balance for the booking is to be paid on the day in cash.
QUASAR IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS

*ANYONE BREAKING THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GAME OR CENTRE.
ANYONE CAUGHT CAUSING ANY DAMAGE TO THE QUASAR EQUIPMENT, SCENERY,PROPS OR ANY OTHER ITEMS BELONGING TO BARRY ISLAND QUASAR WILL BE ASKED TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES.

By accepting to play Quasar you do so at your own risk and the management and owners will not be held responsible for injury sustained or any damage to property.
The management and owners have the right to refuse entry to any person or persons.

There is on street parking on Station approach road and Breaksea drive outside Quasar free for 2 hours.
Parking in Barry Island pleasure park behind the big wheel is pay & display:

1 hour + £6.50
*Please allow extra time to travel to Barry island on dry or sunny days because it does get very busy.
